Baseball Comes Up Short Against Cuesta in Series Opener

San Luis Obispo, Calif. - The Falcons only allowed four hits from Cuesta, but came up short in the series opener, 6-0, on Thursday afternoon.

Sophomore starting pitcher, lefty Alex Clouthier (1-2) was charged with the loss after throwing three innings, allowing four runs - all unearned. Freshman righty Anthony Raymos threw for two innings in relief, fanning three, while three other Falcons pitchers each threw an inning of scoreless relief each.

The Falcons (4-9) remain on the road at Cuesta for a twinbill to close out the three-game series on Friday, Mar. 1. First pitch for the first game is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
