Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomores Kyle Krebs and Bryce Prybylinski both counted three RBI as the Solano baseball team snagged the BVC series opener, 11-6, from Marin on Tuesday afternoon.
Krebs and Pryblinski both counted extra-base hits in their two hits each with Krebs earning a double and a triple and Prybylinski posting a double and a home run. Sophomore Gannon Goldensoph went a perfect 3-of-3 at the plate with a double, RBI, and stolen base.
On the mound, sophomore Alex Clouthier (3-3) threw seven complete, allowing only one earned run, while striking out four.
The Falcons (12-22, 8-11) face Marin for the second game of the series on the road on Thursday, Apr. 18 at 2:30 p.m.
