Baseball Loses Saturday Contest to Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa, Calif. - The Solano baseball team scored a pair of runs early but ultimately lost its Saturday afternoon contest at Santa Rosa, 12-4.

Five Falcons earned a hit with freshman Eli De Guzman counting the team's only extra-base knock. De Guzman was also one of four to earn an RBI.

Sophomore Connor Corporale (0-3) was the pitcher of record for the Falcons, throwing four innings and allowing six earned runs on eight hits with a pair of strikeouts.

Solano (2-7) stays on the road, heading to Skyline on Tuesday, Feb. 18 for a 2 p.m. first pitch.
