Falcons Fall in Series Finale to Contra Costa

Fairfield, Calif. - Despite striking first, the Solano baseball team fell in the series finale to Contra Costa, 7-4, on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman Jaxson Bates was the lone offensive spark for the Falcons, going 3-for-4 with a pair of homers and tallying four RBI and a couple of runs.

On the mound, freshman Ryan Radkey (3-2) was the pitcher of record, throwing seven full and fanning eight.

Solano (8-17, 5-4) open the series at Napa Valley next on Tuesday, Apr. 5. First pitch is slated for 2:30 p.m.
