Men's Basketball Comes Up Short against Cosumnes River after Slow Second Half

Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Jonathon Cobbs led all scorers with 30 points, but the Solano men's basketball team came up short against Cosumnes River, 91-74, after a slow second half on Thursday evening.

The Falcons took a five-point lead into the locker room at halftime but were only able to tally 28 points in the second half despite Cobbs' 50 percent shooting from the field and 8-of-15 effort from beyond the arc. Freshman Jacob Ebert was the other Falcon to reach double digits with 10 points and four rebounds.

Solano (2-9) remains home, hosting Napa Valley for its conference opener on Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m. Fans are allowed, but face coverings are required.
