Fairfield, Calif. - Freshmen Alaena Selden and Teiya Collier both went yard, but it wasn't enough in the Falcon softball team's 9-8 loss to San Jose in nine innings on Saturday.
Collier posted a two-hit day with freshman Baylee Robben going 2-for-4 with a double and run scored.
In the circle, freshman Adrianna Montuya was the pitcher of record after throwing six complete.
Solano (6-6) returns to action again on Tuesday, Feb. 27 against Butte in a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m.
