Ricky Silva joined our coaching staff as assistant coach in 2017. He is also the Head Coach of SASO swimming in Fairfield. SASO swimming is a USA swimming club team with over 100 swimmers. Ricky is actively involved with Sierra Nevada Swimming as a board member and with USA swimming.

Previously, Ricky was a lead coach and site director at Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics and a lead performance coach at Santa Clara Swim Club, both USA swimming Gold Medal clubs. Ricky worked directly with swimmers who achieved USA swimming top 16 age group times, Pacific Swimming records, USA Sectional, USA Junior National, and USA Olympic Trials times. Numerous swimmers went on to swim at various colleges throughout the US.

Ricky is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a degree in communications.
