Riverside, Calif. - A cold streak in the third quarter allowed Cerritos to upend the Falcons, 57-50, in the second round of the Riverside Earn Your Stripes Tournament on Friday.
Solano was unable to convert on 15 attempts after taking a three-point edge going into halftime. Despite outscoring Cerritos in the fourth, Solano was unable to overcome 16-2 edge gained by Cerritos in the third quarter.
Freshman Lexi Derf led the Falcons with 11 points with five assists.
Solano (1-4) will face Grossmont in the final game of the EOS Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m.
