Oakland, Calif. - Freshman Lexi Derf scored 25 points with six three pointers in the Falcons' 88-58 win at Laney on Wednesday evening.
Sophomore Vanessa Hughes and Ashmeen Sran added 17 and 16 points, respectively, with Hughes counting a double-double with 13 boards. Derf added five assists and five steals.
Solano responded to a three-point deficit at the half with great half court defense that transpired into fast break points to continue to build on its margin.
The Falcons (10-8, 5-1) returns home to take on Mendocino on Friday, Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
