Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Jaylynn DelRosario completed a hat trick, adding an assist, to pace the Solano women's soccer team in the 5-0 shutout of Napa Valley on Friday afternoon.
Freshman Shelby Nichols scored the go-ahead goal in the eighth minute before DelRosario took over, reeling off three straight in the 21st, 23rd, and 53rd minute. Nichols counted assists on the first two, followed by an assist by Karla Cardinal.
In the goal, freshman Kirstyn Gottschall earned four saves.
The women's soccer team (8-7-2, 8-2) head to Merritt next on Tuesday, Nov. 6 for 1 p.m. match.
