Kaiser Perfect Behind the Service Line in Volleyball's Falcon Classic Split

Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Kailyn Kaiser served 54 errorless attempts with three aces in the Falcon volleyball team's split in the annual Falcon Classic on Wednesday evening. Solano defeated Diablo Valley in straight sets (26-24, 25-17, 25-6) before dropping a five-set heartbreaker to Butte (24-26, 25-15, 25-16, 26-28, 5-15). 

Kaiser added 13 digs in the team's loss to the Roadrunners.

Sophomore middle blocker Destiny Greenwood paced the Falcons on both sides of the ball at the net against Diablo Valley with 17 kills and six blocks. Sophomore setter Mia Pimentel directed the offense with 62 assists on the day, adding eight aces against Butte.

Solano (3-3) heads on the road to the Delta Classic. The team starts the tournament with a rematch against Gavilan on Friday, Sept. 7 at 12 p.m.
