Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano women's volleyball team, led by sophomore Haley del Rio, captured a pair of sweeps over Sacramento City and Reedley on Wednesday afternoon in the Solano Classic #2.
del Rio tallied 13 kills in each match, adding eight digs against Reedley. Freshman Lindsey McLaughlin backed her up offensively with 16 total kills on the day, adding seven blocks to lead the defense at the net.
Freshmen Kaielle Gasologa and Rocelyn Hongria combined for 11 service aces with Gasologa counting six against San Francisco. Freshman Kayla Somontan added four against Reedley.
The Falcons (8-5) take their four-match winning streak into Bay Valley Conference play. Solano remains home to host Marin on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m.
