Napa, Calif. - A two-out RBI single by freshman Nick Botello completed the late rally by the Solano baseball team, propelling the Falcons to a 7-6 win at Napa Valley on Tuesday afternoon in game one of the conference series.

Sophomore Gannon Goldensoph started the three-run ninth inning with a two-RBI single followed by Botello's RBI-single that scored freshman Matthew Hansen.

On the day, sophomore Kyle Krebs went 2-of-3, while freshman Alex Peppard went 2-of-4 with both hits counting as doubles.

Freshman Edgar Aqui Cruz (3-2) picked up the win after closing the game in the final three innings and counting five strikeouts. 

Solano (9-13, 5-2) returns home for game two of the series, hosting Napa Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 21.
