Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore Nik Dodson counted three RBI, but the Solano baseball team fell to Mendocino, 7-4, in 11 innings in the first game of the conference series on Tuesday.

Dodson counted a sacrifice fly in the second and a two-RBI single in the sixth. 

Freshman Edgar Aqui Cruz (3-3) was charged with the loss after throwing four innings in relief, entering the game for sophomore Alex Clouthier.

Solano (9-15, 5-4) heads to Mendocino for the second game of the series on Friday, Mar. 29 at 2:30 p.m.
