Men's Basketball Drops Overtime Heartbreaker to American River

Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore Dunnell Stafford scored a team-high 27 points in the Solano men's basketball team's overtime heartbreaker loss to American River, 95-89, on Tuesday evening.

Stafford added 13 rebounds and a pair of assists, while sophomores Jordan Adams and Berry Roseborough added 20 and 17 points, respectively. Adams also earned a double-double with 11 boards, tallying four steals.

The Falcons overcame a 10-point halftime deficit behind Stafford and Adams' 26 combined points of the team's 48 total for the half. Solano shot 48 percent to American River's 33 percent.

Solano (2-5) heads to the Monterey Peninsula Tournament to face Gavilan first on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m.
