Fairfield, Calif. - Freshmen Lexi Derf and Ashmeen Sran combined for 29 points in the Falcons 71-64 loss to Santa Rosa on Tuesday evening.

Solano took the early lead, outscoring Santa Rosa 24-17 in the first quarter, but a cold-shooting second quarter put the Falcons in a four-point deficit going into halftime that they were unable to overcome in the second half.

Derf and Sran both added five rebounds with Derf earning a pair of assists and steals, while Sran tallied three steals. Sophomore Jada Scott added 10 points off the bench with six boards. 

The Falcons (3-6) have a short break before hosting the Solano Showdown beginning on Friday, Dec. 13.
