Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Ashmeen Sran led the Falcons with 13 points in the Solano women's basketball team's 73-65 loss to Lassen in the first round of the Solano Showdown on Friday evening.

Freshmen Zaire Brown and Savannah Lopez both added 10 points with freshman Lexi Derf chipping in 10 off the bench as well.

The Falcons led going into the break, but a scoring drought in the third quarter gave Lassen it's final lead as Solano was outscored 29-12 in the second half.

Solano (3-7) will face Cosumnes River next on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.
