Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore Destiny Greenwood hammered 24 kills as the Falcons outlasted Los Medanos in a five-set thriller to be named Co-Bay Valley Conference Champions on Friday evening.

Set scores were 25-20, 22-25, 24-26, 25-16, 16-14.

Greenwood also paced defense at the net with five blocks. Freshman Kailyn Kaiser led the backcourt defense, earning 23 digs. 

Sophomore setter Mia Pimentel racked up 33 assists, adding four aces, while Ixchel Moreno Valdovinos posted a solid all-around match with eight kills and 18 digs.

Solano finishes the 2018 regular season with an 18-10 overall record, 13-1 in BVC play. The Falcons await their postseason fate, to be announced next week once regular season competition around the state concludes.
