Fairfield, Calif. - Despite another double-double performance by sophomore Haley del Rio, the Falcons fell in the Solano Classic #1 finale to Feather River in four on Saturday afternoon.

Set scores were 25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 25-17.

del Rio led the Falcon offense with 18 kills, adding 14 digs. Sophomore Ixchel Moreno paced the defense with 17 digs, and freshman Lindsey McLaughlin added three blocks. McLaughlin added eight kills.

Freshman setter Kayla Somontan directed the Solano offense with 26 assists, while counting three aces on 17 errorless service attempts.

Solano (2-3) returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 4 when it hosts Diablo Valley and Butte. The Falcons will face Diablo Valley first at 3:30 p.m. before taking on Butte at 7:30 p.m.
