Fairfield, Calif. - The No. 25 Solano women's volleyball team wrapped September with a sweep of Alameda on Friday evening to remain undefeated in Bay Valley Conference play.

Set scores were 25-11, 25-7, 25-16.

BVC offensive leader and the state's runner-up in kills sophomore Haley del Rio posted a match-high 12 kills with freshman Lindsey McLaughlin close behind with 10. 

Sophomore Allora Somontan tallied four service aces while leading the team in backcourt defense with 12 digs. Sophomore Ixchel Moreno added 11 digs of her own. At the net, McLaughlin and freshman Mylei Moli each earned three blocks.

Solano (12-5, 4-0) heads to Yuba next on Wednesday, Oct. 2 for a 6 p.m. match.
