Alonso Frias joined the Solano women's soccer program as an assistant coach in 2021 with over 15 years of experience playing competitive soccer at the club, high school, and UPSL levels.

He also currently serves as head coach of the Armijo High School boys junior varsity soccer team, earning back-to-back league championships and leading the Royals to their first undefeated league title in school history in 2021 with a 10-0-0 record. He also served as assistant coach for the boys varsity soccer team in 2020, helping lead the team to its first league championship in eight years. Additionally, he also coaches a NorCal boys team at Solano Surf. 

Frias attended Solano College from 2015-17, assisting the women's soccer program with game film in 2017. He received his bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in labor and employment studies from San Francisco State University in 2020. In 2022 he received his U.S. Soccer National D-License.

Outside of coaching, Frias is an adjunct instructor for athletics, and serves as a Kinesiology Assistant at Solano.
