Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Kyle Krebs went yard to lead the Falcons, but the baseball team lost 16-13 to Merced on Tuesday afternoon.
Krebs finished the day with a pair of hits, RBI, and runs. Sophomore Roberto Diaz counted a pair of hits, including a triple, two walks and two runs scored.
Sophomore Teddy Natter was the pitcher of record for Solano, fanning eight.
Solano (4-10) opens March at home against Santa Rosa on Thursday, Mar. 1 at 2 p.m.
