Monterey, Calif. - The Solano baseball team fell at Monterey Peninsula in the two-game series finale, 8-1, on Friday afternoon.

The Falcons tallied a pair of hits behind the bats of freshmen Dillon Nosrati and Jaxson Bates, scoring first in the top of the third.

Freshman lefty Dylan Tostrup (0-2) was the pitcher of record, throwing four innings, allowing five hits, six runs, and striking out a pair. 

The Falcons (1-9) return to action on Thursday, Feb. 24, hosting American River. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
