Kentfield, Calif. - The Solano baseball pitching staff was on point as the Falcons rebounded with a series-finale 4-1 win over Marin on Saturday afternoon.

Freshmen Ryan Radkey and Josh Petrill combined on the bump to throw a combined three-hitter with 11 strikeouts. Radkey improved to 2-0 on the season, tossing 6.1 innings and allowing only one hit while fanning six. Petrill captured his second save with a two-hitter 2.2 inning scoreless outing with five K's.

Offensively, freshman centerfielder Jaxson Bates went 2-for-4 on the day with a pair of doubles and scoring a couple of runs. Freshman Jimmy Larson tallied a triple as his lone hit as the leadoff batter.

Solano (6-16, 3-3) returns home to open its series with Contra Costa on Tuesday, Mar. 29. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m.
