Falcons Drop Series Opener to Mendocino, 11-3

Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano baseball team dropped its series opener to Mendocino, 11-3, on Tuesday afternoon.

At the plate, freshman Jason Pridy made his one at bat count with a two-run homer in the fourth, adding another RBI on a sacrifice in the sixth. Freshman Zion Judkins earned the team's other extra-base hit with a double, while freshman Nico Castrillo went 2-for-4 on the day.

Freshman Will Lingua was charged with the loss after throwing four complete and allowing five earned runs with three strikeouts.

Solano (11-24) remains home to host Mendocino in game two of the series on Thursday, Apr. 28 at 2:30 p.m.
