Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano men's basketball team was edged by Napa Valley, 87-81, in its Bay Valley Conference opener on Wednesday evening.

Freshman Jonathon Cobbs led the Falcons in points and on the glass with 19 points and 11 boards, adding three assists and three steals. Freshman Jacob Ebert was close behind with 16 points, while sophomores Cole Arabian, Dakarai Hughes, and Ricky Hamilton Holland tacked on 14, 13, and 10 points, respectively. 

Solano (2-10, 0-1) returns to action on Thursday, Dec. 30 at Alameda at 5:30 p.m.
