Men's Tennis Nabs First-Ever Big 8 South Title

Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano men's tennis team nabbed its first-ever Big 8 South title after an undefeated run and nearly perfect season.

The Falcons went 12-1 on the season and 8-0 in conference play with the team overcoming adversity and coming from behind to win four matches. Solano only dropped its season opener to Chabot before finishing the season undefeated as a team.

Sophomores Hunter Bradac, Connor Ard, and Jackson DeVries led the way all season in singles competition, posting a combined 20-1 in conference-play. In addition, the doubles team of Ard and DeVries were the top pair int he conference, while Bradac and sophomore Arshir Brar went undefeated with a perfect 10-0 record this season.

The Falcons will await their postseason fate, slated to be one of the top seeds in NorCal with competition beginning on Tuesday, Apr. 5.
