Folsom, Calif. - The Solano softball team fell in its season opening doubleheader at Folsom Lake, 3-1 and 1-0, on Tuesday afternoon.

Despite a tough outing offensively, freshmen hurlers Ari McIntyre and Morgan Gant only allowed a combined six hits in game one, while sophomore Cicely Kaluza threw a two-hitter in the second game.

At the plate, sophomore Hailey Enriquez went 2-for-5, while freshman Breyon Fullard hit a double in the fourth inning in the first game, earning the only RBI of the day. 

Solano (0-2) hosts Sequoias and Shasta in its home opener next on Saturday, Feb. 8. The first game will begin at 10 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m.
