Ukiah, Calif. - The Falcons continued BVC play, splitting with Mendocino, 1-0 and 7-4, on Monday afternoon.

Three Falcons tallied a single at the plate with only four combined hits between the two teams in the first game.

In game two, freshmen Jayden Sola and Maleah Martinez both led the team with 2-for-3 performances with Sola counting a double and two RBI and Martinez tallying a double.

In the circle, Martinez threw a one-hitter with the one run unearned, while striking out six in game one. In game two, freshman Kiera Edwards picked up the win, tossing five complete and only allowing two earned runs.

Solano (11-17, 5-1) returns home to host Diablo Valley for a mid-week non-conference doubleheader matchup on Thursday, Apr. 7 beginning at 12 p.m.
