Stockton, Calif. - The Solano women's basketbal team fell 85-68 to Sierra College in the first round of the Jocelyn Mancebo Classic, hosted by San Joaquin Delta, on Friday afternoon.

Despite a tight first half, Solano was unable to chip away at Sierra's six-point advantage to start the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Vanessa Hughes paced the Solano offense with 11 points, adding five boards. Sophomore Kaelee Campbell nearly hit a double-double with eight points and a team-high 11 rebounds. 

Solano (0-1) will take on San Jose next on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m.
