Pittsburg, Calif. - Sophomore Vanessa Hughes scored 17 points with 10 boards to lead the Falcons to a 74-42 win over Los Medanos Friday evening.

Hughes added three assists and three steals for a solid, all-around game. Freshman Zaire Brown posted 13 points with a team-high 14 rebounds, while freshman Lexi Derf scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds with three assists and two steals.

Solano (13-9, 8-2) has a week off before returning home to host Merritt for its Coaches vs. Cancer game on Friday, Feb. 7. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
