Sacramento, Calif. - The Solano women's basketball team fell to Allan Hancock, 54-37, in the Cosumnes River College Invitational finale on Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons took an early lead in the first 10 minutes but were unable to hold on. Sophomore Zaire Brown led all Falcon scorers with 10 points, adding seven rebounds. Freshman Paige Peterson pulled down 11 rebounds with six points. Freshmen Jaslyn Woods and Genesis Ernie-Hamilton both tallied eight points and five rebounds with Woods adding three assists and a pair of steals.

Solano (1-2) returns to action, hosting San Francisco on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. Fans are allowed, but face coverings are required.
