Falcons Outscore Napa Late to Earn Conference-Opening Victory

Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Dominque Eaglin hit the backend of a pair of free throws with 1:23 remaining to give the Falcons the one-point advantage as the Solano women's basketball team outscored Napa Valley late to earn its conference-opening victory, 59-58, on Wednesday evening.

Eaglin ended the game with 10 points and eight rebounds, while sophomore Cherika Rafan paced all Falcon scorers with 15 points, seven rebounds, and a pair of assists. Freshman Janae Jackson tacked on 13 points and eight boards, while freshman Jaslyn Woods rounded out the Solano scorers in double figures with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Solano (6-7, 1-0) has an extended break before heading to Marin on Tuesday, Jan. 4 for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
