Fairfield, Calif. - Freshman Shane-Nicole Sheppard scored the gamewinning goal in the 87th minute to lead the Falcons to a 4-3 victory over Marin on Friday to wrap up the 2021 campaign.

Sheppard opened the scoring for the Falcons in the 13th minute off of an assist from sophomore Savannah Crews. Freshman Lenaye Ringler followed with a pair of goals in the 25th (penalty kick) and 85th minutes with freshman Amber Morales tallying the assist on the second goal. 

Freshman Fatima Guzman was in the goal the entire match for the Falcons.

Solano ended the season with an 11-7-1 overall record, 10-3-1 in BVC play.
