Falcons came out a bit sluggish giving up 1 goal in the first half, but after a great pep talk from coach Pernille Kelm, the Falcons came out with a bit of a spark. Midfielders Amber Morales, and Gabby Gonzalez gained confidence to push for points but came up short. Midfielder Ximena Rodriguez also had an opportunity at points but missed a PK. The falcons defintely showed a hard work ethic despite low numbers. Defensively they managed to close down opponents. Although the Falcons were edged, the team completed passes while playing in pockets that opened for chances offensively.

Solano will have a week to rebound, and focus on Modesto College, in which they will be hosting at home September 9th at 4:00 p.m.
