Fairfield, Calif.- Sophomores Destiny Greenwood and Mia Pimentel racked up double-doubles to lead the Solano women's volleyball team (14-8, 9-1) to a sweep (25-15, 28-26, 25-11) of Yuba on Friday evening.

Greenwood posted a 15 kill, 10 dig night, while Pimentel added a 24 assist and 17 dig performance. Pimentel also earned eight kills in the outing. At the service line, freshman Tiarra Fukuda tallied nine aces.

Freshman Ixchel Moreno Valdovinos chipped in seven kills and 13 digs.

The women's volleyball team remains home to host its second Dig For A Cure match on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. against non-conference foe Feather River. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
