Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore outside hitter Haley del Rio counted another double-double with 13 kills and 12 digs as the No. 22 Solano women's volleyball team counted a sweep against Marin to open Bay Valley Conference play on Wednesday evening.

Set scores were 25-10, 25-13, 25-19.

del Rio added a pair of blocks to lead the defense at the net. Freshman Lindsey McLaughlin was a huge offensive threat in the middle with 12 kills, adding a pair of aces.

Sophomore Ixchel Moreno paced the backcourt defense with 13 digs, while freshman Kaielle Gasologa led the Falcons from the baseline with three aces. 

Solano (9-5, 1-0) faces Contra Costa next on Friday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 at Pinole Middle School.
