San Pablo, Calif. - The No. 22 Solano women's volleyball improved to 2-0 in Bay Valley Conference play with a sweep at Contra Costa on Friday evening.

Set scores were 25-12, 25-7, 25-2.

Freshman Lindsey McLaughlin led the Falcons with nine kills, nine aces, and a pari of blocks, while sophomore Haley del Rio added seven kills and four digs. 

Directing the offense, freshman Kayla Somontan earned 22 assists, and sophomore Ixchel Moreno tallied four aces.

Solano (10-5, 2-0) remains on the road heading to Mendocino on Wednesday, Sept. 25 for a 6 p.m. match.
