Sacramento, Calif. - Freshman outside hitter Sammy Brown has been tabbed the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association (CCCWVCA) NorCal Player of the Week for Week 11, announced Monday.

Brown has been a steady all-around contributor for Solano, leading the team to three Bay Valley Conference wins last week. She totaled 28 kills, 37 digs, and 8 aces while hitting at a .267 percentage. She is 10th in the state in total kills (296), and she is fifth overall in total points scored with 367. 

Brown is the first CCCWVCA Player of the Week since former Falcon Haley Del Rio earned the honor in 2019.

Solano (18-11, 11-0) faces Mendocino tonight at home before hosting Los Medanos on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m.
