Fairfield, Calif. - The 12th-seeded Solano women's volleyball team will head to fifth-seeded American River on Tuesday, Nov. 23 for the first round of the CCCAA NorCal Regional, announced Thursday. Match time is set for 7 p.m.

The winner will advance to face the winner of the No. 4 Sierra vs. No. 13 Monterey Peninsula match to be played on Saturday, Nov. 27.

Solano finished the regular season underfeated in Bay Valley Conference play with a 21-11, 14-0 mark, while American River finished second in the Big 8 with a 23-6, 14-2 record. The two teams faced each other three times in a span of six days early in the season in September.
