Athlete of the month: Sammy Brown
Brown has been the most consistent team player for the Falcons this year. Starting off strong in early September with two matches leading the team with 27 kills in each match and the other two match (in the same week) 17 & 11 kills. She received State Player of the Week for Northern CA in week 2 of season.
She leads the team with 286 kills, and is 2nd in the STATE in kills. Sammy also leads the team in digs with 236. She also leads the team in service aces at 26 and is our top passer. Right now in the BVC she leads the conference in Kills, kills per set, digs, and hitting percentage.
Sammy gets it done on the court and in the classroom, she is maintaining a 4.0 at progress report time in all her courses. She is a Biology major planning to transfer to either UC Davis or UOP for Biology/pre-med.
