Today was our Solano Classic 3 way with College of Sequoias and Folsom Lake
We beat COS 25-15, 25-11, 25-12
Leaders: Breanna Davis led the offense with 19 assist, added 10 digs
Lexi Vasquez led the defense with 12 digs, 1 aces serving 12-13 and excelled at serve receive passing a 2.6 (out of 3.0)
Malia Decelle also kept our offense in control with her serve receive excelling at 2.6, she chipped in 5 kills
Top hitter on offense was #12 Kelsey Wall, led with 9 kills on zero errors, hitting .500
Vanya Paopao added 8 kills, led with 3 aces serving 11-12 and 15 assist
Hannah Del Rio added 8 kills to the offense
Alissa Projillo served 15-16 with an ace
We had a day that everything felt right. We had our defense and offense all in sync with one another. Great all around game, was able to play everyone on our roster.
2nd match we beat Folsom Lake College 25-10, 25-14, 25-14
Vanya Paopao ran the offense with 22 assist and added 7 kills, serving 14-14
Breanna Davis as the other setter was on fire with her defense leading the team with (three areas of double digits) 18 digs, chipped in 13 assist, serving 18-18 with 3 aces
Lexi Vasquez added a double double with 13 digs, and serving 16-16 with one ace
Kelsey Wall led the offense again with 13 kills, she was a force at the net
Malia Decelle served 9-9 with an ace and chipped in 8 kills
Jailynn Bermudez chipped in 6 digs
Eryka Ferrer also chipped in 5 digs.
We played two consecutive games with solid offense and defense. It was nice to get two wins in our first home matches on the year.
