Solano Offense Erupts in 18-9 Victory Over Yuba
FAIRFIELD, Calif. – The Solano Falcons put on an offensive showcase on Tuesday, defeating Yuba College 18-9 in a high-scoring affair at home.
The Falcons wasted no time taking control, scoring four runs in the second inning to jump ahead early. They continued to apply pressure, adding multiple runs in the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth innings to maintain a comfortable lead.
Explosive Offense Leads the Way
Solano’s bats were on fire, tallying 11 hits while drawing an impressive 14 walks. Michael Rivera was the standout performer, going 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs. Tyler Chalk also delivered a strong performance, driving in three runs on two doubles.
Javier Manila, Cooper Dwyer, and Rolando Ramos each added multiple RBIs, while Bryce Alcantara contributed with three runs scored and an RBI double. The Falcons executed well with runners in scoring position, consistently finding ways to extend their lead.
Yuba’s Late Push Falls Short
Despite trailing for most of the game, Yuba showed resilience, scoring three runs in both the fourth and eighth innings to stay within striking distance. Levi Van Patten provided a spark for the 49ers, blasting a three-run home run in the fourth, while Daniel Lewis chipped in with a pair of RBIs.
Yuba finished with nine hits, including doubles from Nathaniel Hurley and Lewis, but struggled to match Solano’s offensive output. They were also hurt by six strikeouts and left multiple runners on base.
Falcons’ Pitching Holds Steady
The Solano pitching staff did enough to secure the win despite Yuba’s offensive efforts. Peyten Czekalewski started the game and provided solid innings before the bullpen took over to close it out.
Defensively, the Falcons were flawless, committing zero errors in the field, while Yuba had one miscue that contributed to Solano’s scoring outburst.
