Kyle Stafford enters his second season as the pitching coach and first as the Associate Head Coach at Solano in 2023-2024. He joined the Falcons after spending four years as an assistant coach at University of Southwest in Hobbs, NM. In his time with USW, the pitching staff set school records in ERA, WHIP, Runs/game, saves, and strikeouts among others. He is also the head coach of the Solano Mudcats in the California Collegiate League, coaching players from Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Juco. Stafford began his coaching career as an assistant at Armijo High School before moving on to University of the Southwest. He spent the Summer of 2019 as an assistant coach for the Casper Horseheads in the Expedition League.
