Diego Reyes is entering his second season on the coaching staff at Solano College. He joined the program in 2022 after spending a season as the lead assistant for both the men’s and women’s basketball program at Pacific Union College (NAIA) in Angwin, CA. At Pacific Union, he led scouting, player development, recruitment, and strength and conditioning. Reyes became one of the youngest coaches ever to win a game at the 4-year level when temporarily filling into the role of head coach.

Reyes attended and played at Mendocino College for 2 years, before transferring to University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and focusing on his studies. 

Reyes graduated from UCLA in 2019 with a BS in Applied Mathematics and a MS in applied exercise science from Concordia University Chicago in 2023. 

In addition to coaching at Solano, Reyes has assisted in basketball camps across California including Stanford men’s basketball and NBC Basketball Camps.
