Alameda, Calif. - Sophomore Destiny Greenwood found the floor 19 times to pace the Falcons to a sweep (25-16, 25-14, 25-17) of Alameda to open Bay Valley Conference play on Wednesday evening. The win also extends Solano's conference winning streak to 20 matches.

Greenwood had a solid all-around match with nine digs and three blocks. Sophomore setter Mia Pimentel tallied 38 assists, and freshman Allora Somontan counted a pair of aces.

The women's volleyball team (5-6, 1-0) continues league play by hosting Mendocino on Friday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.
