Sacramento, Calif. - Sophomore outside hitter Haley Del Rio has been named the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association (CCCWVCA) NorCal Athlete of the Week for Week 5, announced Monday.

Del Rio counted 23 kills on the week, hitting .404, to lead the Falcon offense to a pair of sweeps over conference foes Mendocino and Alameda. Defensively, she earned 17 digs and six blocks, and she earned her sixth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 10 digs at Mendocino.

The Falcons (12-5, 4-0) look to remain perfect in Bay Valley Conference play, heading to Yuba on Wednesday, Oct. 2 for a 6 p.m. match. Currently Solano has yet to drop a set against a BVC opponent.
