Bio

Dr. Brian Street is an experienced academic administrator, previously as Dean for the College of Health Sciences at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he oversaw the operations and success of 19 undergraduate and graduate programs, over 80 faculty and staff, and over 1200 students. Dr. Street has other significant academic leadership experience, including roles as Executive Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Department Chair, Graduate Program Director, Faculty Leadership Academy Director, and Director of a high functioning research and teaching laboratory. In these roles, Dr. Street has led the development and restructuring of new programs and curriculum, developed and implemented student enrollment, retention, and graduation strategies, managed budget and resource allocation, and had significant experience hiring, reviewing, and mentoring faculty and staff. Dr. Street also has significant experience and achievement working with alumni, donors, and community partners acquiring resources for student scholarships, faculty support, and development in institutional spaces.

Dr. Street’s area of expertise is concerned with the identification of movement patterns and the quantification of sensorimotor deficits associated with aging and orthopedic disorders on fall accidents. Dr. Street has published and presented more than 70 journal articles and conference presentations. He has also been the supervisor and committee member of over 60 doctoral, master, and undergraduate students, impacting the next generation of innovators and leaders in the health and educational fields. Dr. Street’s achievements have been recognized by his students and colleagues, including Institutional Research Excellence awards, and nominated for the Millie Ablin Excellence in Teaching award and the Promising New Faculty award.

Dr. Street will be overseeing the health sciences division, including programs such as Nursing, EMS, Sports Medicine, Athletics, Dance, Nutrition, and Fire Technology.
