Cupertino, Calif. - Sophomore Kari Yamada posted a sixth place finish in the one-meter diving competition at the NorCal Diving Championships on Saturday. 

Yamada, the 2018 Bay Valley Conference Diving Champion, has now qualified for the State Championships on May 2-4, hosted by De Anza College.
