Fairfield, Calif. - Sophomore Sabrina Zerbey has been named to the California Community College Women's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCWBCA) Academic All-State Team, announced Friday.

Zerbey joins 84 women's basketball players from 39 other colleges on the largest Academic All-State team to date. She will be recognized at the CCCWBCA's Banquet of Champions on Thursday, Mar. 14.

To qualify for Academic All-State recognition, the student-athletes must have completed a year of play on their teams, earn at least 24 units, and maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Zerbey and the rest of the Solano women's basketball team await their fate for postseason play after winning the Bay Valley Conference title. Seedings for playoffs will be announced on Monday, Feb. 25.
